Milestones

Wondering what skills your child should demonstrate in speech, language and feeding?

Below you will find a breakdown of developmental milestones in speech, language and feeding. This information was compiled from developmental norms via American Speech Language & Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as Toomey’s Sensory Oral Sequential (SOS) feeding course.

Wondering what to do if your child does not demonstrate some of the skills listed at her/his age?

Please note that these are general developmental milestones, and each child is unique in her/his development. Having one or two skills that are not yet developed does not always mean intervention is necessary. However, if you or your pediatrician are concerned, feel free to contact us for a screening or evaluation.
